Senior Data Consultant – Dutch-Speaking
Are you passionate about designing large-scale data platforms that power advanced analytics and drive business impact? We are looking for a Senior Data Consultant to lead technical initiatives, mentor teams, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions across cloud environments.
What You'll Do
Architect, build, and maintain robust data platforms using modern technologies.
Develop and optimize automated ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Implement and manage cloud-based solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Work with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, and Data bricks.
Design and optimize data warehouses using Snowflake and BigQuery.
Define data models, enforce governance, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in data engineering, including leadership or architect-level roles.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery).
Expertise in big data frameworks: Spark, Hadoop, Data bricks.
Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
Solid knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Fluent in Dutch (C1) and English; willingness to travel and work at client sites.
