Freelance | 6–12 Months + Extension | Brussels (Hybrid) | Up to €400/day
We are partnering with a globally recognised automotive and mobility organisation – one of the world's largest vehicle manufacturers, operating in over 170 countries and employing more than 350,000 people worldwide.
With a strong European headquarters based in Brussels and a workforce representing over 60 nationalities, the organisation is currently transforming from a traditional automotive manufacturer into a customer-centric mobility company. Their ambition is to deliver seamless, data-driven omnichannel experiences that create meaningful customer value across Europe.
As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Omnichannel CX Data Insights Product Owner to join on a contractor basis.
The Role:
As the OCX Data Insights Product Owner, you will play a critical role in analysing and optimising the end-to-end customer journey across digital touchpoints. You will translate complex digital performance data into actionable insights that drive measurable business impact.
Working cross-functionally with Customer Engagement, Digital Experience, Connected Technology, Customer Relations and IT teams, you will ensure that data is leveraged effectively to improve satisfaction, engagement and commercial performance.
This is a highly analytical, insight-led role suited to someone who thrives on reading data, interpreting dashboards and defining relevant business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Performance & KPI Management
Define and monitor omnichannel CX KPIs linked to business value and customer engagement
Analyse digital KPIs and existing dashboards to drive performance improvements
Lead monthly performance reviews against targets
Organise quarterly performance workshops
Support continuous improvement cycles following major releases
Customer Journey & Digital Touchpoint Analysis
Analyse the full customer journey across online channels
Identify friction points, optimisation opportunities and moments of delight
Introduce and operationalise digital funnel reporting
Support journey optimisation and orchestration initiatives
Data Insights & Advanced Analytics
Develop a data-driven roadmap to maximise insight generation
Combine web analytics with relevant business datasets
Conduct deep-dive analyses into website and platform performance
Apply advanced analytics techniques (including AI/ML where relevant) to strengthen correlation and predictive insight
Ensure high standards of data governance, modelling and dashboard accuracy
Data Quality & Governance
Ensure consistent data definitions and transformation logic
Monitor data integrity and reliability within central dashboards
Improve adoption and utilisation of insights across business units
Key Requirements
5+ years' experience in digital analytics, data strategy or omnichannel customer experience
Strong background as a Data Insights profile / Analytics expert
Proven experience reading and interpreting complex dashboards (Power BI preferred)
Strong understanding of customer journey analytics, funnel analysis, attribution and CRO
Experience defining clear, relevant business requirements from data insights
Knowledge of data modelling, governance and advanced statistical methods
Commercially minded with the ability to link insights to business outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Location & Contract Details
On-site presence required Tuesday–Thursday in Brussels
6–12 month contract + extension
Up to €400 per day
