What you will do

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Finance Operations, you will step into the role of Team Lead for our FinOps Projects team. You will act as a player-coach, guiding a team of specialists dedicated to enhancing our financial operations. Your core mission is to implement structured project management practices to drive strategic initiatives, moving the team from reactive support to proactive project execution. You will oversee projects focused on process optimization, new business integrations, and ensuring our invoicing and payment systems are robust and scalable.

Where you will have impact

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Operations Specialists through regular coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
• Establish and implement a structured project management framework to guide the team's work on key initiatives.
• Drive a continuous cycle of process improvement by analyzing current operations, identifying bottlenecks, and leveraging AI tools to prioritize and execute high-impact optimizations across our Q2C processes.
• Be the primary technical guide for your team, supporting them in navigating complex systems and resolving operational challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build and maintain a strategic roadmap that aligns team initiatives with broader company goals.
• Oversee the integration of new businesses, ensuring their financial processes are smoothly incorporated into our systems.
• Ensure our foundational invoicing and payment processes are robust, scalable, and standardized to support our global growth
• Actively explore and champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of Finance Operations workflows.

About our team

You'll be leading our strategic Finance Operations Project team. We are the engine behind the scenes, focused on continuous improvement and future-proofing our financial processes. Our team is responsible for taking a deep dive into how things work, finding ways to make them better, and then leading the projects to make it happen. We work on everything from standardizing invoicing and payment systems to integrating newly acquired companies.

Who you are

Essential

• Demonstrated team lead experience, with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
• A strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple team priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for resolving conflicts and managing stakeholders.
• Experience in a Finance Operations, billing, or quote-to-cash role, ideally with experience in Salesforce.
• A proactive, approachable, and collaborative mindset, embodying the spirit of a team player.
• An organized and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
