We are hitting the reset button on our agile way of working and are looking for a hands-on Scrum Master to take the lead. We have no room for ivory towers or endless theories; we need someone ready to roll up their sleeves and drive improvements directly with the teams.
You will join an environment with 6 to 7 teams, where you (together with a colleague) will bear responsibility for multiple teams. Your focus is on the practical application of agile principles—not just to tick boxes, but to make our teams more efficient and happier.
about the job- Facilitate & coach: You guide the teams through agile events and coach them to a higher level of maturity.
- Remove obstacles: You are a bulldozer for impediments. You don't just report them; you resolve them together with internal stakeholders.
- The Big Picture: Together with the Release Train Engineer, you take a leading role in the quarterly planning events (QBR/BRP).
- Support: You assist Product Owners with backlog management and ensure clear communication between developers and stakeholders.
- Build culture: You create a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within a DevOps environment
about you
We are not looking for a theorist who can recite the textbook, but someone who understands group dynamics and knows how to truly set teams in motion.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of guiding multiple teams (3+) simultaneously.
- Profile: You hold a recognized Scrum certification (PSM/CSM).
- Mindset: Direct, empathic, and hands-on. You dare to challenge the status quo and possess the persuasive power to turn resistance into enthusiasm.
- Tech savvy: Experience with Jira and Confluence is a must. Knowledge of working in a DevOps environment is a strong plus.
- Languages: You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- Location: You are willing to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week to ensure an optimal connection with the teams.
