Operations Support Officer


For one of our clients active in the energy sector, we are currently looking for an Operations Support Officer to support an IT-driven organization operating across Belgium and Germany.
This opportunity is open to both full-time employees and freelance consultants.
Role Overview
As Operations Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination, operational efficiency, and structured communication within a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and operational support (meeting coordination, agenda preparation, event organization)
• Prepare presentations, reports, documentation, and KPI dashboards (PowerPoint & Power BI)
• Track and manage tasks and resource requests in Jira and Confluence
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives (KPI tracking, learning & development, change management)
• Facilitate effective stakeholder coordination across HR, Procurement, Finance, and business teams in Belgium and Germany
Profile
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an IT or corporate environment
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus; German is an asset)
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Jira, and Confluence
