About the role
As our Visual Merchandiser, you will assist in providing input on visual merchandising initiatives for the village, supporting brand and merchandising standards. You will work closely with our Senior Product Merchant and the Visual Merchandising Manager to effectively support the local teams. You will engage and influence the stores on the overall visual presentation.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include the following:
Provide assistance for the Visual Merchandising teamSupport any visual merchandising action or installationBuild and maintain a constructive relationship with the brandsAct as the liaison and contact person for any creative goals or actions in the village boutiques for both in-store and window displays for a better appeal and product presentationWork closely with the appropriate teams in the Village with the distribution of props/deco, signage and display toolsBe responsible for prop storage and delivery of campaign assets and props to stores for seasonal changesEnsure the signage across the village is coherent, windows displays are at its best and develop new ideasEnsure that the Retail team has detailed feedback on the stores on visual merchandising and submit a bi-weekly report on the improvements to be madeAssist in trade show inspiration fairs and visit key city centres and off price competition in the surroundings and follow up by reportsAssist in developing training moments for village VM store staff, to optimize stores KPI'sAbout You
We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
Degree education or relevant qualification is preferrableStrong background in visual merchandising working across multiple brands, for department stores or international brands in the international (luxury) retail industry.Nice to have: Computer literate with high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesignPassion about fashion with an understanding on current market trends and sound knowledge of the principles of visual merchandising to promote and strategical sell products and services.Able to follow visual merchandising guidelinesA great communicator, energetic and hands-on approachAbility to prioritise your work to meet tight and multiple deadlinesParticipate in the induction of new Brands to introduce merchandising and window guidelines along our standards ensure store layouts and zoning requirements are metAble to work well with all levels across the business and customers with a creative and open minded capability to adapt to a fast pace environmentAbility to both work as a team and work independentlyEnergetic and hands-on approachFluent in English and local Village language, any other European language would be beneficialThere's no one quite like us
