Who are you in our On IT story?

As a purchasing and administration associate, you play a crucial role on our team. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and maintaining administrative records. Your work ensures that our organization runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our overall business goals.

Key responsibilities
  • Management of procurement processes:
  • Carefully prepare and send orders to supplier.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
  • Receive delivery of goods, verify and check related documents. (Short follow up process with suppliers so that turnaround time from request to delivery is as short as possible)
  • Keeping warehouse in order.

  • Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and archive procurement documents, invoices and contracts.
  • Accurately enter data into our internal systems.

  • Communication and coordination:

  • Collaborate with various departments to discuss procurement needs and progress.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal customers and suppliers regarding purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Resolve any problems with deliveries, such as delays or quality issues.
Qualifications
  • Training
  • A degree in a relevant field such as business administration, logistics or administration.
  • Experience
  • Several years of experience in a similar position is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with an ERP system or other administrative software.
  • Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
  • Working accurately is of enormous importance because you are the starting point of an internal chain reaction to various departments.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Perfect command of the Dutch language. Experience with English and French in a plus.
