RH Aero is seeking an Advanced LEAP Engine Technical Maintenance Instructor to deliver hands-on overhaul training to our global airline and MRO customers. This is a highly specialized, customer-facing role combining deep technical expertise with real-world application. This opportunity is structured as a 1-year contract, involving approximately two weeks of training delivery per month. All travel-related expenses, including flights, accommodation, and meals, are fully covered by the company. JOB SUMMARY: The Advanced Leap Engine Technical Maintenance Instructor position provides LEAP engine overhaul training support to Global LEAP customers. This role plays a key position in the team's advanced training technical support approach to its customers, by providing onsite hands-on overhaul training. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a LEAP engine overhaul maintenance training course, with a course training syllabus. Carry out engine maintenance per approved maintenance manuals and other applicable technical data. Be able to conduct practical and theoretical training on GE/CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. Address customer tooling technical related questions that arise during training/consultation, by technical interpretation. Training/consultation activities will be related to engine disassembly and assembly, from a full engine to a piece part level, tool usage/training, and tool to engine application. Create a custom syllabus, for different customer training needs. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: Be able to demonstrate an in-depth working knowledge of the GE/CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine disassembly and assembly, from a full engine to a piece part level. Specific overhaul experience on LEAP shop modules SM 52-SM53 -SM54, and SM41-SM51. 4-year technical degree or 10+ years of progressive experience with GE/CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine maintenance/overhaul. Be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and ability to deliver and facilitate training in LEAP engine overhaul and tool familiarization. Attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to instruct, in person, in front of a group. Must be able to read and interpret all OEM tooling blueprints and specifications. Read, understand and translate into current configuration, all OEM requirements for Airframe OEM and Gas Turbine Engine OEM Technical and Maintenance publications, service bulletins, drawings, models and process sheets. Strong customer-facing interaction, ability to communicate at all levels, sometimes under pressure and ability to build good relationships at all levels of customer organizations. Ability to multi-task (simultaneous diverse customer activity), combined with a demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Requires advanced skills in electrical, hydro mechanical, assembly, disassembly, testing, and operating complex specialized equipment specific to the aviation industry. Experience with MS-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Teams). ERP systems (Epicor) is a plus. Articulate and effective communicator with the ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment and good sense rather than the use of authority. Must have previous OEM Engine experience; preferably training certifications from engine OEMs. The role is based in Brussels or neaby locations
