Interim Mission

As
Interim International Head of Brand Management
, you will take full ownership of the marketing and brand strategy across the Benelux region during a pivotal transformation phase.

Your mission is to stabilize, structure, and accelerate brand performance across the portfolio and partner brands, ensuring strong positioning, increased visibility, and measurable commercial impact.

You will act as a strategic bridge between global brand vision and local execution, aligning Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive sustainable growth and elevate the consumer experience.

This assignment requires a seasoned marketing leader capable of combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-evolving business context.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Leadership & Portfolio Acceleration

  • Define and execute robust brand plans based on consumer insights, market data, and commercial priorities.
  • Reassess and sharpen brand positioning and communication strategies.
  • Optimize marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI and short-term impact.
  • Ensure alignment with international brand owners and global guidelines.
  • Provide clear strategic direction during the transformation phase.

Operational Deployment & Commercial Activation

  • Lead and coordinate omnichannel campaign roll-outs (on-trade, off-trade, e-commerce, key accounts).
  • Strengthen sales enablement through impactful promotional materials and digital content.
  • Refine and drive the digital strategy in line with market dynamics.
  • Ensure operational feasibility and excellence of marketing initiatives.

Performance & Transformation Management

  • Track and analyze key KPIs (brand awareness, ROI, campaign effectiveness, market share).
  • Identify quick wins and structural improvements.
  • Deliver clear performance reporting and actionable recommendations to local leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Lead, coach, and structure the marketing team (including development of the Marketing Assistant).
  • Foster strong collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Embed a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance orientation.
  • Act as a change leader during the commercial transformation.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or equivalent experience.

Languages

  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (mandatory for Benelux scope and international alignment).

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of senior marketing experience, ideally in FMCG and/or specialized distribution.
  • Strong track record in brand strategy development and execution.
  • Proven leadership experience in transformation or change environments.
  • Strong knowledge of or affinity with the wine and/or premium beverage sector (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and implement innovative, data-driven strategies.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and impact-oriented mindset.
