Senior Sales Manager – Belgium
Role Overview
You will report directly to the Belgian Country Manager and be responsible for sales activities in Belgium related to our flexibility portfolio and Trading-as-a-Service offering.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales activities within your assigned market.
Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on investors in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), biogas, CHP plant operators, and project developers.
Conduct contract negotiations independently and conclude partnerships based on performance data from the existing portfolio.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with operators, investors, and local market participants.
Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs.
Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to support strategic decisions.
Candidate Profile
Strong presence and ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
Clear and structured communication style, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Belgian energy sector (trading, storage, or generation).
Established network and solid knowledge of the Belgian energy market.
Ability to lead discussions related to power plants, storage technologies, and trading concepts.
Self-motivated and comfortable with regular client meetings.
Native or fluent French or Dutch, plus strong English for internal communication.
