About the role

We are looking for a junior Business & Data Analyst to join our team and work on sustainability and ESG data projects, bridging business requirements and technical implementation.

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements related to sustainability, ESG, and reporting
• Review and understand source data and underlying business processes
• Support data analysis, data quality checks, and validation
• Assist with data modeling, mapping, and transformation logic
• Contribute to data transformation and processing pipelines across Microsoft platforms
• Help translate business needs into structured, scalable data solutions
• Document assumptions, logic, and outcomes clearly

Required background

• Technical or IT-related education (e.g. IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar)
• Understanding of database structures and how data flows through systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with structured data and processing Excel/CSV files
• Business-oriented mindset with interest in how technology supports real-world processes
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Dutch-speaking is a strong advantage; German and/or French are a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g. Dynamics 365, Finance & Operations, Power Platform, Power BI, Fabric)
• Knowledge of ERP systems or enterprise data environments
• Understanding of data transformation or query languages (e.g. SQL, Power Query / M, Spark SQL)
• Interest in sustainability, ESG, or reporting domains
