Location: Vilvorde
Salary: €5,000 to €5,500 gross/month (depending on your profile)

Hybrid work policy
As a Head of Accounting you are responsible for financial management and the accurate handling of accounting activities. You ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. You play a key role in optimizing financial processes and work closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise general accounting activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Prepare financial reports and analyses for management
Manage tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.)
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies
Optimize accounting processes
Supervise and support the accounting team
Your Profile
You have a strong expertise in AP and GL, and exposure to billing and customer follow-up;
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work independently in a decentralized environment without direct CFO supervision;
Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to change, with a strong team spirit, positive attitude;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or an equivalent qualification;
Minimum of approx. 6 years' experience in a similar role;
Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax regulations;
Fluent in French, with good understanding of Dutch and English OR Fluent in Dutch, with good understanding of French and English.
