A readiness to take initiative, assume responsibility and maintain a steady, professional rhythm of work is essential to succeed in this position.

Assist in the preparation of briefings, background notes, concept papers and communication material relating to the Division's programmes and external relations, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with institutional standards.
Contribute to the organisation of outreach actions, events, calls for proposals, donation processes and stakeholder engagement, liaising with internal services and external partners in a professional and timely manner.
Undertake research, compile information and prepare summaries to support evidence‑based decision‑making across the Division's areas of work, including youth participation, education, inclusion, emergency support and philanthropic initiatives.
Provide operational support in managing the Division's interaction with partners within the organisation, in the EU and internationally, including preparation of agendas, minutes and follow‑up to meetings with external organisations and senior management.
Contribute to the organisation, and occasionally the delivery, of specific EIB Institute events such as Know Your Hazard conferences, youth‑related activities, EIB Institute sponsored events and internal staff events.
Initiate improvements and participate in the optimisation of working methods, maintaining a proactive and collaborative attitude.
As appropriate, contribute to the back-up of other division staff during their planned and unplanned absence to guarantee business continuity.
Demonstrate flexibility and cooperate proactively during peak periods to ensure smooth and efficient running of the activities of division and of the Institute.
Qualifications
University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in public policy, political science, social sciences, management, sustainability or a closely related field relevant to the Division's activities.
Maximum 2 years of relevant professional experience (excluding internships of less than 9 months) after your most recent graduation.
Experience in fields related to social impact, humanitarian action or civil society support.
Experience in the organisation of events, including logistics, stakeholder coordination and on‑site support, is an advantage.
Experience in legal, procurement or compliance‑related tasks is an advantage, particularly in the context of grant-making and donation procedures.
