Overview
A detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Inspector to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre project. While prior data centre experience is advantageous, it is not essential.
A Mechanical or Electrical background in building services, commercial construction, industrial projects, or MEP installation are encouraged to apply.
The QA/QC Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Review and interpret technical documentation including:
- IFC drawings
- Specifications
- Method Statements
- ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
- RAMS
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and statutory regulations.
- Verify subcontractors adhere to approved procedures and quality requirements.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Site Inspections & Quality Control- Perform daily inspections of mechanical and/or electrical installations including:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing and drainage
- Fire protection systems
- Electrical distribution and containment
- Monitor installation activities to ensure works meet approved standards.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities in line with ITP requirements.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
- Track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Conduct material inspections and verify compliance with approved submittals.

Documentation & Reporting- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including:
- Inspection checklists
- Test reports
- NCR logs
- Quality registers
- Handover dossiers
- Maintain accurate site records and inspection reports.
- Assist in compiling handover documentation including:
- As-built drawings
- O&M manuals
- Commissioning records
- Test certificates
Coordination & Stakeholder Interface- Collaborate with Construction Managers, Engineers, Commissioning Teams, Consultants, and Subcontractors.
- Attend quality meetings, coordination meetings, and client inspections.
- Support client walkdowns and snagging activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
Continuous Improvement- Promote a culture of quality awareness on site.
- Provide lessons learned and feedback to improve QA/QC processes.
- Support development of best practices across the project lifecycle.
Experience - Construction projects
- Commercial or industrial buildings
- MEP contracting
- Previous QA/QC experience preferred.
- Strong site engineers seeking to transition into QA/QC will also be considered.
Technical Skills- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITPs, inspections, testing protocols, and quality documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards (IEC, ISO, ASHRAE, etc.) is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
