Development Representative

The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Development Representative to help Mbrella become the #1 mobility player in Belgium. In this role, you will play a critical part in generating and qualifying leads and contributing to the overall growth of our sales pipeline. Responsibilities
Convert inbound leads into sales demonstrations: Engage with highly qualified inbound leads generated by our Marketing and Partnership programs, assess their needs, and schedule product demonstrations.
Develop outbound opportunities: Proactively research and identify new potential customers, build lists of prospects, and create outreach campaigns to generate interest in Mbrella's mobility solutions.
Be a trusted mobility advisor: Educate customers on the full range of mobility options they can offer their employees and position Mbrella as the solution they need.
Master the data game: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress in our CRM system, ensuring complete visibility for the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align efforts and drive overall company growth.
Support the sales team's market strategy: Partner with the sales team to align on market priorities, pipeline goals, and strategies to grow Mbrella's customer base.
Be a brand ambassador: Represent Mbrella with professionalism and enthusiasm, showcasing our culture and values in every interaction.
Stay informed: Gather and analyse market intelligence about customers, competitors, and pricing trends to refine our approach and maintain a competitive edge.
AI-Powered Outbound & Automation (New)
In addition to classic DR responsibilities, you will play a key role in shaping Mbrella's future outbound strategy. Mbrella is actively investigating and piloting AI-powered Development Representative solutions to scale our outbound efforts and improve efficiency. As part of this role, you will:
Help configure, train, and optimise our AI DR tools and workflows
Monitor and improve AI-generated outreach and lead qualification
Combine human and AI-driven prospecting to maximize pipeline generation
Continuously test, analyze, and refine automation strategies
Act as the bridge between Sales, RevOps, and technology partners in this area
You will have a unique opportunity to help build one of Mbrella's first human + AI hybrid sales engines, positioning the company at the forefront of modern B2B sales.
Qualifications
Experience: You have +1 year of experience as a Sales for a SaaS start-up or scale-up
Commercial: You are driven by hitting revenue targets and the commercial success of Mbrella will be your top priority.
Work ethic: You are highly organised with exceptional follow-up skills
Hands-on: You love getting things done yourself. You get strong personal satisfaction from talking to prospects, building a network,…
Curious: You're insanely curious and you're constantly learning. You want to know everything about our customers, their problems and their existing solutions.
Tech-savvy: is not just a fancy word, it's part of who you are.
Entrepreneurial: You deliver results whatever the obstacles are. You'd love to build your own company one day and thrive in a fast-growing environment.
Fluent in Dutch, and English.
