Sales Manager – Speciality Brands Role: Full-time, permanent Location: Brussels (off site) Salary: Competitive + generous bonus + benefits The Role Reporting to the Country Manager, the Sales Manager Speciality Brands will be responsible for building and leading the commercial operations and drive the achievement of market objectives prior to and beyond launch. To have the full responsibility for commercial development for Accord in all its therapeutic areas in the Speciality Brands channel. Role includes, customer account management, product management, developing, lead and maximising the results and profit of the Speciality Brands business in Belgium. This role will have direct reports leading the field-based Speciality Brands Account Managers (AMs). You will, in close collaboration with the Speciality Brands AMs, work with various external stakeholders, such as key opinion leaders, therapy area specialists, to develop effective professional partnerships to drive business and sales performance. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes for patients and development of the business Develop, lead and coach the Speciality Brands KAM team; Ensure appropriate leadership and development of his/her team: define clear objectives, allocate resources, monitor activities, allocate fair rewards, provide developmental opportunities etc. Develop, lead, and implement business plans for SB channels by product, in line with the corporate commercial strategy of Accord, and manage the implementation of activities in the business plan Provide input to pre- and post-launch global/local product strategies Accountable for gathering and analyzing information from key customers (influence mapping) to understand the disease and market to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/tools Close collaboration with local Marketing team to ensure aligned strategies, cohesive campaigns, and maximized commercial impact. Close partnering with local MSL teams regarding planning and execution of medical plans of the several brands and SB launches Close liaison with Accord EMENA and Cluster teams regarding marketing, communication strategy, sales force effectiveness and market intelligence sharing Partner with the local and corporate marketing teams to customize plans for local audiences The Person: Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or biotech, with a focus on sales and marketing of Speciality brands A detailed understanding of the marketing of branded pharmaceuticals, biosimilars or added-value generic drugs Deep market knowledge and experience in building up a network of relationships in Belgium Demonstration of strong leadership and the ability to generate credibility both internally and externally Proven successful track record of building high performance teams, motivating and inspiring leadership and driving consistently strong results. Knowledge and experience in market access and launch excellence in the BE healthcare system An ability to appraise clinical data and to critically evaluate clinical data and reports Master or bachelor degree, preferably in health sciences and/or business economics. A degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) will be an asset.
