ASKO Europe BV also supports the export market, providing feasibility studies, project management, detailed engineering, and supervision services for steel plant installations in regions such as Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. Additionally, it facilitates the supply of equipment for auxiliary systems in partnership with Belgian and EU-based OEM suppliers.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tekenaar based in Schoten, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Senior Tekenaar will be responsible for creating technical drawings and designs, developing layouts, and collaborating with engineering and project management teams. Additional responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and providing input in design reviews to improve accuracy and efficiency in project execution.
Qualifications
Proficiency in technical drawing and design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Experience in engineering design, layout development, and equipment specification
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for project assessment and cost analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders
Understanding of steel plant engineering, including water treatment and material handling systems
Experience with quality improvement processes and assurance certifications is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
