The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Set project timeline
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from estimation and design to installation and handover
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and project requirements
- Manage project budgets, variations, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations (BS 7671), HSE legislation, and local authority requirements
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
- Identify and resolve issues to minimise delays and maximise efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical project management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of EU wiring regulations and health & safety standards
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Experience with project management tools/software (e.g. MS Project, SimPRO, or similar)
- ECS/CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
- Full UK driving licence required
