Over Circle
Circle bouwt een Agritech SaaS-platform dat alle lokale actoren op één plek samenbrengt om agro-waste gecontroleerd te verwerken tot hoogwaardige, gepersonaliseerde bodemverbeteraars. Via ons gecentraliseerde platform passen we een datagestuurde aanpak toe op biologische composteerprocessen. Hierdoor zijn we in staat om toxische afvalstromen met wetenschappelijke voorspelbaarheid te transformeren naar uiterst nauwkeurige, gepersonaliseerde bodemverbeteraars.
Ons doel: de impact van regeneratieve landbouw versnellen door volledige industriële ketens circulair te maken
Verantwoordelijkheden
Je wordt onze agronomie- en bioproces-cofounder: de persoon die ervoor zorgt dat wat we in software bouwen ook biologisch klopt, operationeel werkt en meetbaar is op het veld.
Concreet ga je:
Meedraaien in het core team (product/operations) en mee richting geven aan wat we bouwen en waarom.
Onze hypotheses, findings en aannames testen: wat werkt echt in compostering/bodem, wat is wensdenken, wat mist er?
Expert-input geven op platformflows: recepten, kwaliteitschecks, sampling, labdata, interpretatie en aanbevelingen.
Mee definiëren welke data we nodig hebben (sensor/proces/lab/veld) om output reproduceerbaar en voorspelbaar te maken.
Pilots mee vormgeven: welke proefopzet, welke KPI's, welke validatie—zodat we met vertrouwen kunnen zeggen \"dit werkt\".
Feedback loops opzetten: inzichten uit pilots vertalen naar verbeteringen in het product en de playbooks.
Kwalificaties
Achtergrond in bio-ingenieurswetenschappen / agronomie / bodemkunde (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
Sterke basis in bodemgezondheid, organische stof, compostering/biologische processen en de impact op gewas/veld.
Je kan wetenschap vertalen naar praktische keuzes: \"wat doen we morgen anders in het proces / op het veld?\"
Je denkt in hypotheses en validatie: aannames challengen, experimenten opzetten, data interpreteren, conclusies trekken.
Je kan samenwerken met verschillende profielen (boeren, operators, labs, software/product) en helder communiceren.
Founder-mentaliteit: ownership, autonomie, hands-on, geen schrik van ambiguïteit.
Bereid om als cofounder in te stappen (equity / sweat equity; engagement groeit mee met de fase).

Through our centralized platform, we apply a data-driven approach to biological composting processes. This enables us to transform toxic waste streams—with scientific predictability—into highly precise, personalized soil improvers.
Our goal: accelerate the impact of regenerative farming by making entire industrial value chains circular.
Responsibilities
You will be our Agronomy & Bioprocess Co-Founder: the person who ensures that what we build in software is biologically sound, operationally viable, and measurable in the field.
Concretely, you will:
Join the core team (product/operations) and help steer what we build and why.
Test our hypotheses, findings, and assumptions: what truly works in composting/soil, what is wishful thinking, and what's missing?
Provide expert input on platform flows: recipes, quality checks, sampling, lab data, interpretation, and recommendations.
Help define which data we need (sensor/process/lab/field) to make outputs reproducible and predictable.
Co-design pilots: trial setup, KPIs, validation approach—so we can confidently say \"this works.\"
Set up feedback loops: translate pilot insights into product improvements and stronger playbooks.
Qualifications
Background in bioengineering / agronomy / soil science (or equivalent through experience).
Strong foundation in soil health, organic matter, composting/biological processes, and their impact on crops/field outcomes.
Ability to translate science into practical decisions: \"what do we change tomorrow in the process / in the field?\"
Thinks in hypotheses and validation: challenge assumptions, design experiments, interpret data, draw conclusions.
Comfortable collaborating with diverse profiles (farmers, operators, labs, software/product) and communicating clearly.
Founder mindset: ownership, autonomy, hands-on attitude, comfortable with ambiguity.
Willing to join as a cofounder (equity / sweat equity; commitment grows with the stage).
