Fohntech Group, an Irish labour agency are hiring a Trades & Labour Manager to manage and oversee our operation in Belgium.
<\/p>

The Trades & Labour Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the agency's operations in Belgium are compliant with local legislation, aligned with Irish and EU regulatory requirements, and delivered to a high professional and ethical standard. The role acts as the primary local representative of the agency, overseeing operational delivery, client relationships, workforce management, and liaison with authorities, while supporting the strategic objectives of the Irish head office.

The Trades & Labour Manager is responsible for safeguarding the agency's reputation, ensuring worker welfare, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulators in Belgium.

Role Overview:<\/b>
<\/p>

The Trades & Labour Manager is accountable for the day -to -day management and oversight of the agency's activities in Belgium. This includes operational administrative resourcing, management, compliance, client and worker relations, financial oversight, and reporting to head office in Ireland. The role requires strong knowledge of Belgian labour law, employment practices, and cultural norms, as well as effective coordination with Irish -based management.

Manage and oversee the Fohntech operation in Belgium. This will include delivering on the following operational programme of work.
<\/p>

  • Arranging flights for personnel coming into Belgium.
    <\/li>
  • Organising and completing A1, Visa, Damona, and Lamosa applications.
    <\/li>
  • Providing the necessary documentation for employees to register their Belgian residency.
    <\/li>
  • Organising accommodation and car hire for employees.
    <\/li>
  • Regular inspection of apartments and vehicles.
    <\/li>
  • Processing of expenses for employees.
    <\/li>
  • Managing and ensuring implementation of staff rotations.
    <\/li>
  • Processing time sheets for payroll.
    <\/li>
  • Preparing payment applications clients and general client's engagement.
    <\/li>
  • Dealing with employee queries.
    <\/li>
  • Carry out regular visits to existing and target construction sites in the region
    <\/li><\/ul>

    The Belgium Trades & Labour Manager will also be required to:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Identify business opportunities compatible with the overall Fohntech Strategy and seek to maximise these opportunities for the benefit of the Group.
      <\/li>
    • Ensure the KPIs and targets for the Belgian market are achieved. This will include financial targets in terms of income, costs, and profit.
      <\/li>
    • Ensure Fohntech Belgium operates in a compliant manner in line with Belgian laws and regulations.
      <\/li>
    • Manage and direct the Fohntech team based in Belgium and lead the appointment of key personnel in the country.
      <\/li>
    • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key partners in the country, with a strong focus on new and existing clients.
      <\/li>
    • Work closely with the relevant business functions located in Ireland to ensure the Belgian operation is supported and there are open and effective lines of communication across the Group.
      <\/li>
    • Represent the Fohntech Group, as required, at key business and other networking events.
      <\/li>
    • Compile and prepare weekly and monthly reports for presentation to their line manager and the CEO of the Group.
