A BATHING APE(BAPE) Situated in the heart of Tokyo, one of the leading fashion hubs of the world, Nowhere Co., Ltd. strives to introduce Japanese fashion culture to the world. Since the brand's establishment in 1993, it has remained as a symbol of street fashion for 32 years. Thus far, it has produced iconic design items, original patterns and character such as \"APE HEAD\", \"BAPE CAMO\", \"BAPE STA\", \"SHARK HOODIE\" and \"BABY MILO\" etc. It has now expanded into Mens', Ladies and Kids line and is carried throughout stores in Japan and also sold in US, UK, China and various Asian countries. Accountabilities – Key Result Areas
Assist whole design team in completing the whole process of the development from themes and concept, presentation of styling, sketches, fitting session until pre-production sample
Research of seasonal themes, fabrications and material and colors etc
Work closely with merchandising and factories to facilitate development processes and schedules from product development, sourcing of fabrics and trims, sample fitting, etc
Assist preparations of seasonal design presentations to buyer and frontline operations
Experience / Qualification Requirements
Degree holder in design related discipline
2-4+ years solid experience in fashion design; Fresh graduates will be considered as Assistant Designer
Be passionate about the brand's identity, with personal charisma and visions in international fashion trend
Ability to research and apply market information
Creative, communicative and be able to collaborate with business teams to achieve brand objectives
