Overseas Finance Manager


Job Description:
Responsible for coordinating and managing the financial operations of the Group's overseas subsidiaries. Collaborate actively with the Group's headquarters teams in accounting, external reporting, taxation, financial reporting, and budget analysis to establish financial processes for new projects, support the implementation of new business initiatives/scenarios, and facilitate effective communication and coordination between the Group headquarters and overseas subsidiaries.
Assist management in liaising with overseas tax authorities, local accounting firms, and other professional institutions.
Assist the reporting team in conducting research on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and regularly update the Group on new fiscal and tax policies in the countries where overseas subsidiaries are located.
Ensure financial compliance: Coordinate with audit, internal control, and external regulatory bodies, and work with the Group's headquarters finance team to meet the financial disclosure requirements of listed companies and comply with local laws and regulations.
Handle tax-related matters for the Hong Kong entity. Collaborate with the Group's tax advisors to interpret tax policies in overseas regions (such as Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas), assist the Group headquarters in formulating overseas tax compliance strategies and resolving overseas tax disputes. Work with overseas tax agents to lead tax declarations, tax planning, and tax risk management, optimizing the tax structure for Hong Kong and cross-border operations.
Collaborate with the Group headquarters treasury team to coordinate overseas working capital allocation, cash flow forecasting, and support the business development of overseas subsidiaries.
Be available for short-term domestic and international business trips to facilitate financial integration and process optimization with the headquarters and other regional subsidiaries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Permanent residency in Hong Kong is an advantage.
At least 4 years of financial management experience, preferably in a listed company or with cross-border business exposure.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or HKICPA are preferred.
In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), international tax regulations, and compliance requirements for listed companies. Proficiency in using ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Strong logical thinking, ability to work under pressure, and experience in cross-departmental collaboration and project management.
