The FP&A Analyst supports the monitoring and consolidation of financial data for Medison APAC. This role assists in overseeing financial results and budget activities, preparing insightful reports, and contributing to key financial forecasting and projects. The analyst also collaborates with various stakeholders to gather data, assist with performance analysis and support informed decision making.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, coordination, and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Forecasts, and Long‑Range Plan (LRP) processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial submissions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights, define and refine KPIs, monitor performance trends, and support data‑driven decision-making.
Develop and enhance financial models and analytical tools (Excel and other systems) to support regional P&L analysis
Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A workflows and contribute to regional and company‑wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in building and maintaining financial dashboards, reporting platforms, and other decision‑support systems to improve planning and visibility for senior leadership.
Conduct variance analysis of sales, profitability, and OPEX by comparing actual results to forecasts, budgets, and prior periods.
Contribute to monthly Latest Estimate (LE) updates, support OPEX tracking, and partner with functions to align financial expectations with operational activities.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of financial processes while maintaining strong financial governance and adherence to reporting standards.
Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other internal presentations by providing data, insights, and performance analyses.
Review and reconcile cost classifications to ensure alignment with the company chart of accounts and strengthen expense transparency and control.
Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and support process improvement projects to drive scalability, automation, and efficiency.
Assist senior leadership with analyses, insights, and materials related to financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field
1–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or analytical roles, preferably worked in Big 4 or in Pharma/Biotech
Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin or Korean is a plus
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Strong storytelling, presentation, and collaboration skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively across all levels of the organization
Thrives in highly dynamic and changing environments with agility
Deep expertise in financial modeling, data visualization, and BI analytics tools
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan, NetSuite, or other analytics platforms is a plus
