Automation Engineer

Automation/OT Engineer - Pharmaceutical Industry - Contract until the end of 2026
My client are a global company in the Life sciences world. They are hiring for an freelance Automation/OT Engineer, to work until the end of 2026.
In the role you will be joining the team ASAP to help prepare for a project going into commissioning in July of this year. The first phase will involve looking at the design and protocols, with the project related to the provision of digital connectivity for the lab equipment.
They need you to do the following:
Review and develop commissioning protocols related to GxP Automation systems.
Take an active role with the stakeholder management from the IT side.
Help orchestrate IT infrastructure changes.
What essential is needed?
3+ years experience with OT
Knowledge of IT/OT network and infrastructure
English speaking
EU right to work

GxP Experience
Electrical/Automation/PLC background
Location: Ghent, Belgium (Hybrid role)
Contract: Until the end of the year, high chance of extension
Hours: 40 / week
