At PolyPerception, our mission is to increase recycling rates of waste through real-time insights and data. We do this by installing analyzers, in waste recycling facilities across the world, that leverage Deep Learning and computer vision. Key responsibilities Managing installations workflow (what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and by who) Inventory management in our workshop and ordering parts with suppliers Communication with customers about installations (requirements and planning the installation) Preparing components such as electrical cabinets, cameras, edge devices, aluminum profiles, … Preparing & managing shipments to customers Training interns when they join us (2 times per year) Optional: installation at a customer site (once per quarter) Who we're looking for? You're excited to work at a small startup and take on real responsibility Basic understanding of components such as electrical cabinets, camera sensors, lenses, edge devices (small computers), network switches, PSUs Willingness to learn on the job Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced and changing working environment Strong people skills as you'll be working with many colleagues, vendors, customers, etc. Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) Having a BA5 and VCA is a bonus (we will enroll you to BA5 and VCA training if you do not have it already) What we offer: Part-time position: 16 hours/week (2 days) Contract: Flexijob, Studentenovereenkomst, deeltijdse arbeidsovereenkomst or zelfstandige VCA and BA5 training, if needed Start date: as soon as possible Our office is walking distance from Antwerpen-Berchem train station.
