Job Description
Cyber Praxis is recruiting a Forensics & OSINT Expert to join its team. In this full-time role, you will conduct high-level digital investigations, collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence (workstations, servers, cloud environments, and mobile devices), and use OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) techniques to collect, correlate, and interpret publicly available data.
You will be involved in complex investigations (cyberattacks, fraud cases, data exfiltration, insider compromises), actively contribute to strengthening our clients' cybersecurity posture, and participate in drafting structured technical reports suitable for executive management, insurers, or judicial authorities.
This position offers real impact, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to develop recognized expertise in the field of digital investigation.
Hybrid position, based in Lasne, with partial remote work possible.
Qualifications
Digital Investigation Skills:
Expertise in digital evidence analysis, data recovery, forensic acquisitions (disk, memory, mobile), and the use of specialized forensic tools. Ability to work rigorously in strict compliance with chain-of-custody requirements.
OSINT Skills:
Strong command of advanced research and analysis techniques for publicly available information, metadata analysis, information correlation, and investigation of exposed infrastructures.
Cybersecurity Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of current threats (ransomware, phishing, Active Directory compromise, etc.), attack techniques, and best practices for securing systems and networks.
Technical Skills:
Excellent command of Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android environments. Solid understanding of network architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls), system environments, and scripting or programming languages (Python preferred).
Additional Assets:
Ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, cybersecurity certifications, experience drafting legally sound technical reports, strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and high professional ethics. Fluency in FR/NL or FR/EN is considered an asset.
