Quality Senior Manager

Utexbel, a Belgian family-owned technical textile company with nearly a century of expertise, is strengthening its operations in Ronse and across Europe. ITZU Executive Search has been mandated to identify a Cross-functional Quality Manager to support Utexbel’s growth following major tender wins and a planned 50% increase in production. Utexbel specializes in technical textiles for protective clothing, workwear, and industrial applications. Every fabric leaving its sites is produced through a fully integrated production chain, from spinning to finishing, ensuring the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and traceability. Job description Utexbel is seeking a Cross-functional Quality Manager who will act as the guardian of the company’s quality promise. In this hands-on and strategic role, you will oversee product excellence across spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing, working closely with production operators, R&D, laboratories, and subcontractors. You will also coach and inspire teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure consistent product quality across all production stages and sites. Analyze cross-site quality data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement practical solutions. Serve as a bridge between production, R&D, laboratories, and subcontractors. Coach and support shop-floor teams to embed a quality-first mindset. Reporting lines are clear, and Utexbel’s senior management values transparency, practicality, and measurable impact. Strong technical background in textiles , with industrial or hands-on experience. Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communicator and collaborator , able to work effectively with both production teams and senior management. Comfortable in a bilingual environment (French/Dutch); proficiency in English is a plus.
