Definition of the job As a Production Planner, you make a difference every day: you translate orders, stock levels and capacity into a well‑structured daily and weekly planning that drives shop‑floor efficiency and maximizes output. Communication is key across all stakeholders. Reporting to Head of Planning Subordinate Positions Not applicable (N/A) Activities / main tasks Planning: You prepare the daily and weekly planning (W+1/W+2) for multiple production lines; Capacity: You monitor actual performance versus the plan and adjust quickly where needed; Runs & change-overs: You optimize batch volumes, sequencing and change-over times; Planning tool: You manage the graphical planning tool and maintain accurate master data; Morning meeting: You lead the daily start-up with team leads, align priorities and address operational risks; Materials: You safeguard W+2 material availability, place timely call‑offs/orders and monitor the waste flow; Collaboration: You work closely with Operations, Warehousing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics; Reporting: You report directly to the Head of Planning. Specific requirements for the position Titles and prerequisites Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience; Basic logistics & food safety knowledge is a plus; IT skills: Strong ERP and Excel skills; Languages: Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English. Soft skills Analytical: You simplify complex planning challenges; Communicative: You switch easily between teams and stakeholders; Attitude to teamwork; Good ability to manage stress.
