For an international asset/service company based in Brussels, we are currently looking for a senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong integration affinity, operating at Lead level.

Universal Journal
Parallel Ledgers & Currencies
Document Splitting
Tax configuration
Payment Medium
Electronic Bank Statements (CAMT / MT940)
Bank Communication Management
Period-end activities:
Asset closing
GR/IR clearing
FX revaluation
Financial Closing Cockpit
CO basics:
Cost Center Accounting
Internal Orders
Profit Center Accounting
Allocations / assessments
Margin-based COPA
Integration & Cross-Functional Exposure
Strong functional understanding of:
SAP DRC (Statutory Reporting)
Multi Bank Connectivity
eDoc framework / e-invoicing
BRF+ (output management – functional scope)
VIM tool with RFC integration (e.g. Basware)
Intercompany Invoicing (IDOC-based EDI & ICMR)
Integration stacks: IDOC/ALE, ODATA/APIs, SAP BTP integration services
Analytics: Fiori analytical apps, Embedded Analytics, CDS (functional level), group/consolidation reporting
Practical Information
Full-time freelance assignment
Minimum 3 days onsite in Brussels (mandatory)
Start: mid-March
Initial duration: 3 months contract renewable (up to 12 months)
Fluent English required (FR/NL is a plus)

Reaching Customer location would be easier by car
This role requires someone hands-on, comfortable in an international S/4 environment and able to interact with technical teams on integration topics.
