Scope
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial VP Corporate Market to lead our expansion into adjacent, high-potential segments within the non-broadcast MediaTech space. This role is focused on identifying and developing opportunities in customer verticals such as corporate communications, government agencies, educational institutions, houses of worship, and other organizations producing high-value content outside of traditional broadcast environments.
The VP Corporate Market will be responsible for crafting and executing go-to-market strategies tailored to these sectors, uncovering unmet needs, and positioning our solutions to support complex, professional-grade media workflows. This is a growth-focused role requiring strong market analysis skills, deep customer empathy, and a proven ability to translate insights into scalable business opportunities.
Job Description
Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for adjacent, non-broadcast segments with a clear focus on scalable growth.
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep market analysis to identify trends, customer challenges, and whitespace opportunities; translate findings into actionable business plans.
Business Plan and P&L ownership: Elaborate a 5-year plan that takes into account revenue projection, market share evolution, cost of sales, CAPEX and OPEX investments required to support growth. Maintain accountability for the P&L performance linked to the market segment, ensuring initiatives align with financial goals and ROI
Customer Segmentation: Define and refine customer personas for each vertical, understanding their unique needs, buying behavior, and content production goals.
Value Proposition Development: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to craft compelling messaging and solution positioning tailored to each target segment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers across institutions and enterprises to build awareness and drive adoption.
Sales Enablement: Partner with sales leadership to equip the team with relevant tools, collateral, training, and insights specific to new customer segments.
Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with integrators, consultants, and ecosystem players active in adjacent markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, business development, customer success, and operations to align strategy with execution and ensure customer satisfaction.
Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and success metrics; provide regular reporting on market development progress, pipeline health, and revenue contribution.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements relevant to target verticals.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media Technology, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus).
7-10 years of experience in market development, strategic growth, or business development, ideally in MediaTech, AV, SaaS, or a technology-driven B2B environment.
Demonstrated success in identifying and entering new market segments with measurable business outcomes.
Strong understanding of video production technologies, live or on-demand media workflows, and content delivery in professional settings.
Familiarity with the needs and procurement processes of institutional buyers—corporations, public sector, education, and faith-based organizations.
Excellent skills in market research, strategy development, and stakeholder communication.
Strong project management capabilities, with experience driving initiatives from concept to execution.
High level of independence and accountability; comfortable operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
Proficiency in CRM and business intelligence tools.
Willingness to travel periodically for customer engagement, events, and internal alignment.
