Role: Project Material Controller
Location: Flanders region, Belgium
Salary: Neg DOE
MSL Engineering Ltd. is a mechanical engineering contractor dedicated to delivering a service that incorporates the highest standards of workmanship, safety, quality and reliability in interpreting and exceeding our clients' expectations.
We are currently looking for a Material Controller to join our team. The role will be based in Flanders region, in Belgium.
Requirements
Receive and inspect plant and machinery.
Verify quantities against packing slip and purchase order and update inventory received through computerized software
Scan and file copy of all delivery documentation
Report all overage, shortages, and damage to purchasing and relevant Engineer
Update the Plant Schedule matching the tag numbers received and storage location
Daily contact with the field Supervisors and Engineers to ensure material availability supports planned progress
Ensure sign off at site for the items delivered
Keep file of all material request forms that have been signed as received at site
Manage all project logistics, from supplier/vendor to transportation to off-loading on site
Ensure all applicable EHS standards are fully complied with for transport and offloading of materials
Organize and monitor the storage of materials and their distribution across the project
Manage the operation of the site, scheduling and controlling all site deliveries
Report to purchasing team weekly on all materials received
Previous stores experience an advantage
Knowledge of mechanical process (pipe & fittings) a distinct advantage
