Demi / Commis Chef (Kitchen)


Tastings Group a homegrown independent group of bars and restaurants in Hong Kong, established in 2008.
A fast-growing and dynamic F&B group in Hong Kong managing premium food & beverage outlets including Quinary, Origin, The Envoy, Room 309, Vea Restaurant, Wing Restaurant, and Draft Land Hong Kong in Central.
In 2024, February the second Draft Land HK opened in Causeway Bay. In July we opened The Opposites Bar led by two Diageo World Class Champions, Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok in Central. And a new restaurant Medora, Liz & Tori opened in December 2024.
We are looking for a talented kitchen staff for a crucial role in a professional kitchen.
Working location : Kennedy Town
Responsibilities
Carry out daily baking, savory, hot and cold food preparation and cooking assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and quality set by the Restaurant.
Follow the assigned instructions and recommendations to complete the daily tasks.
Put effort into optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality,
Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Requirements
Good command of English and Chinese.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in western cuisine, less experience will be considered as Commis Chef.
Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies of food prep, receiving storage, and sanitation.
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and food processing methods.
Creative and quality-oriented Team player, working hard, good interpersonal and communication skills.
