About The Role
Our Sales team is essential to MSP's growth. We generate leads and follow up on them through various channels, conduct market research to identify both general and specific trends, and use these insights to advise potential clients. We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the onboarding and integration of new clients, ensuring a successful go-live, and then hand over those clients.
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to further our growth in the Belgian market. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for generating new leads, and building relationships that lead to sales opportunities. Your efforts will directly contribute to our expansion and success in the market.
Job requirements
What You'll Be Doing
Owning the full sales cycle for Belgian SME merchants
Fostering valuable client relationships and long term partnerships with leading players in the market
Building sales campaigns and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with growth objectives
Working with Marketing teams to align on participation in events and other activities to increase market share
Collaborating with Product & Technology teams to ensure our solutions are performing to the required standard
Conducting market research to identify industry trends to advise potential clients
What You'll Need
7+ years experience within sales or business development, preferably within Fintech or Saas
Strong understanding of sales and decision cycles within the Belgian e-commerce market
A problem solving mindset and basic knowledge of consultative and challenger sales tactics
Proven track record of hitting sales targets in a customer driven environment
Excellent communication skills in Flemish, French, & English
