EM&E Group, a leading company in the aerospace and defence sector, is expanding its team in Brussels. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support our EU & NATO Business Development activities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment, collaborating closely with key stakeholders and gaining exposure to strategic projects within the European Defence ecosystem.

Main responsibilities include:
Monitor and analyse EU and NATO funding programmes and other relevant instruments to identify strategic opportunities aligned with the company's portfolio.
Support the preparation and submission of competitive proposals, including administrative documentation, partner coordination, and contribution to technical and commercial sections.
Assist in the identification, mapping and engagement of potential partners (industry, SMEs, research centres and universities) to build strong international consortia.
Support negotiations and coordination activities with consortium partners during proposal preparation phases.
Maintain internal tracking tools for opportunities, deadlines, stakeholder mapping and pipeline management.
Contribute to the preparation of concept notes, capability presentations, and positioning papers for upcoming calls.
Contribute to market and stakeholder intelligence activities related to EU defence and security funding priorities.
Provide general support to the Business Development team in strategic meetings, industry events and institutional engagements in Brussels.
Candidate Profile:
Final-year student in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, European Studies, Defence Studies, or a related field.
Strong interest in EU institutions, NATO structures, defence programmes, and the aerospace industry.
High level of English (C1). French, German, or any third language is considered a strong plus.
Analytical, organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
Duration & Availability:
Start date: immediate or within the next month.
Duration: 1 full year.
Full-time internship.
Location: Brussels.
