The role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the bank's workplace technology environment, including endpoint management, software deployment, patching, printing services, and operational support for end users. The role works closely with Group Workplace Technology Singapore, Hong Kong IT teams, mainly Infrastructure teams, (Network, Wintel, Server) and TISO to ensure the stability, security, and compliance of all endpoints across Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities Endpoint Management & Configuration Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft SCCM for software distribution, OSD, and patch management for HK endpoints. Monitor SCCM site servers, distribution points, health status, and performance; troubleshoot platform issues when required. Utilize Intune, SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent tools for automated deployment, application packaging, and device lifecycle management. Support development and optimization of Windows Image upgrades, MacOS enhancements, and endpoint configuration standards. Workplace Technology Operations Act as the local HK SME for workplace technology operations, including: Endpoint devices (Windows, iOS ) Microsoft 365 environment Printing services and secure print infrastructure Desktop hardware lifecycle and replacement Work closely with HK Workplace Technology team to resolve escalated desktop issues and ensure seamless user experience. Security, Compliance & Audit Response Perform regular endpoint security assessments, including firmware vulnerability checks, device compliance, and OS patch posture. Work with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to align policies with HK regulatory expectations. Support incident response activities involving endpoint security, system misconfiguration, or cloud security events. Address audit findings by refining processes and updating compliance policies for HK endpoints. Cloud & Modern Workplace Enablement Understanding of Configure Intune Conditional Access policies, compliance baselines, and endpoint protection rules. Participate in projects involving SCCM and mobile device enablement / management(MDM). Cross‑Team Collaboration Liaise with Infrastructure teams (Network, Server, Wintel, Security) for end‑to‑end troubleshooting and system improvements. Work with Group Workplace Technology Team to follow alignment with regional standards, frameworks, and technology roadmaps. Coordinate with HK Helpdesk, Frontline EUS, and stakeholders for requirement gathering, root-cause analysis, and operations improvements. Support the creation and maintenance of knowledge articles, SOPs, compliance procedures, and technical documentation. Reporting, Documentation & Improvement Keep up-to-date with industry trends, modern workplace technologies, and new approaches to endpoint security and automation. Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and technology stability. Qualifications / Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience in End User Computing / Desktop Engineering roles, preferably within Banking or Financial Institutions. Technical Skills Strong expertise in: SCCM / MECM administration Microsoft Intune / MDM Application packaging and deployment Windows GPOs, AD, Azure AD, and domain infrastructure Windows OS, O365 suite, Teams environment Experience developing dashboards for hardware asset management. Knowledge of endpoint compliance and security control frameworks. Hands‑on experience with endpoint security tools (McAfee, Microsoft Defender Suite, ATP, etc.). Familiar with ITIL processes and usage of HPSM or similar ITSM platform. Understanding of enterprise printing solutions (secure print, print servers, multifunction devices). Soft Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to work in a complex, fast‑paced banking environment. Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Experience-centric mindset with strong communication skills, able to explain technical matters to non‑technical users. Creative, resourceful, and willing to challenge the status quo for process improvement. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work with Group EUS, HK ICT teams, and Infra domains. Strong command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin preferred.
