IPA Operations Executive

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for monitoring and documenting the programs or special projects designed for the management of IPA's and in some cases initiatives for centers and/or care homes, to realize cost containment within the programs and compliance with the requirements of the Star programs, and among others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reviews existing documentation, suggests, and participates in the development of required policies and procedures that may arise because of identified and reported findings:
Reports and refers to management initiative, programs or project performance, results, and effectiveness, identified failures or non-compliances, as well as needs for development and/or corrective actions towards processes, operations and/or personnel.
Monitors, documents, and reports the status of projects, programs, or initiative phases.
Supports the Manager in the development and documentation of metrics to monitor, evidence and/or support the achievement of the results achieved.
Coordinates and/or leads meetings with process owners and/or implementation staff to assign, monitor, document, update, and assist in project, initiatives, or program phases, as well as facilitate the search for alternate solutions to achieve the objective of each project, initiatives, or programs.
Reviews existing documentation, suggests, and participates in the development of required policies and procedures that may arise because of identified and reported findings.
Prepares monthly reports and/or metrics as established by the department.
Ensures effective coordination of the Clinical Affairs department resources in implementing programs aimed at managing the utilization management of medical services.
Participates in STARS projects or initiatives, HEDIS, and educational activities for IPAs. Participates in quarterly meetings of the IPAs with their PCPs.
Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices.
May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration, Health Education, or related areas. At least three (3) years of experience working on initiatives, programs, or projects, related to IPA Management, or Health Insurance Industry, as preferable.

Certifications / Licenses: A valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is required.
Other: Experience in utilization or financial analysis is preferred. Knowledge of IPA Management, experience preparing and facilitating public presentations and knowledge of Excel for report preparation is required.
Languages:
Spanish – Intermediate (comprehensive, writing and verbal)
English – Intermediate (comprehensive, writing and verbal)
