For our unique hotel site in Ghent—consisting of Holiday Inn Express Suites, Residence Inn by Marriott, and Courtyard by Marriott, we are looking for a flexi-job maintenance worker who wants to earn extra income 2 to 3 days per week.

Your role within our technical team

In this flexi-job, you will support our technical department during office hours. Together with three colleagues, you will ensure that our modern infrastructure remains in top condition.

Your responsibilities:

• You perform technical inspections, ranging from hotel rooms and technical installations to public areas and meeting rooms.
• You carry out minor repairs to the building and furniture.
• You ensure everything functions correctly, from the lighting in the halls to the HVAC systems.
• You always work with an eye for the applicable safety regulations.

• You meet the legal requirements to work under the flexi-job status.
• You are a technical jack-of-all-trades with relevant work experience or you are a very experienced DIY enthusiast.
• Basic knowledge of electricity is essential; knowledge of plumbing or HVAC is a significant plus.
• You speak Dutch and/or English fluently.
• You work independently, are eager to learn, and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment.
