Role Overview
Work closely with Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) and Head of Thematic Equities – Asia in marketing efforts of thematic products.
Provide industry research on technology & internet sectors, and on investment themes such as 5G Connectivity, Mobility, Space Economy, Metaverse, etc.
Responsibilities
Work closely with investment team, CPM, and sales and client servicing teams, in promoting thematic equities product.
Develop / customize marketing materials for promoting existing or new thematic products for different market segments.
Work closely with CPM in producing research & marketing materials, such as fund updates, RFPs and client pitches.
Keep abreast on technology innovation & thematic trends and compose market / industry updates on investment outlook.
Assisting CPM and sales team in preparing research or marketing materials for client initiatives, such as client review meetings / conference calls.
Conduct analysis on fund flows, performance attributions, business profitability and competitive landscape.
Requirements
University graduate with degree in Finance / Economics or relevant discipline.
At least two years of relevant experience in investment advisory or equity research. Candidates with prior experience focusing in TMT sectors will be well-regarded.
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English and Chinese (Mandarin). Other Asia Languages such as Japanese or Korean would be a plus.
Highly motivated, articulate and with strong market sense.
Team player and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
