On-site position in Dorado, Puerto Rico
Weekly compensation of 150,000 USD annually
If you have moved beyond conventional schooling and you are unwilling to compromise standards for comfort, this opportunity is designed for you. You will guide children and adults toward ambitious goals using data and explicit benchmarks—not lectures or traditional lesson plans.
Alpha School is creating an AI-driven educational model in which students complete core academics in only two hours per day, then dedicate their afternoons to developing practical life skills. Our commitment is straightforward and rigorous: students love school, achieve learning outcomes 2× faster than their peers, and cultivate life skills. This position ensures that commitment is fulfilled for every K–8 student at our Dorado campus.
You will remain operationally engaged. You will deliver one-hour life skills workshops, facilitate structured motivation sessions that drive student progress in academic applications, and coach Guides through direct feedback paired with specific improvement steps. This is neither a conventional teaching position nor a hands-off leadership assignment. You will be held accountable for results, adherence to established protocols, and maintaining uncompromising standards.

What You Will Be Doing
Deliver one-hour life skills workshops for K–8 students by preparing and executing activities strictly according to playbooks
Conduct structured motivation sessions that drive students to progress in academic apps and reach objectives
Observe Guides during instruction and provide standards-based coaching with explicit improvement actions and accountability
Apply objective, data-informed judgment to maintain mastery standards, even in challenging circumstances
Work closely with campus staff on a daily basis to ensure consistent execution of Alpha's 3 Promises
What You Won't Be Doing
Instruct or tutor academic subjects using traditional classroom methods
Create lesson plans or develop curriculum materials
Improvise during workshops or deviate from approved playbooks
Compromise mastery standards or adjust goals to create artificial \"success\"
Manage from behind a desk through administrative tasks while others engage directly with students
Elite Coach Key Responsibilities
Ensure that every K–8 student at Alpha's Dorado campus consistently receives Alpha's 3 Promises: they love school, learn 2× faster, and build life skills.
Basic Requirements
Work authorization for Puerto Rico
Capacity to work full-time on-site at the Dorado, Puerto Rico campus
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relevant experience coaching individuals to ambitious outcomes
Background working with children ages 5–14 in coaching, motivation, or youth development contexts
Track record coaching or leading adult performance with defined standards and accountability measures
Effective verbal communication skills tailored for K–8 audiences
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making (leveraging metrics and analytics to guide actions and maintain standards)
High-standards orientation with confidence delivering direct feedback and sustaining goals without compromise

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
