Cancer Biologist


ZERO Biotech is dedicated to the research, development, compounding, and distribution of Nuclear Medicine (NM) diagnostic and therapeutic products. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for cancer patients by providing innovative and effective solutions. With a focus on cutting-edge technology and patient-centric advancements, we are looking for a cancer biologist who will be playing a critical role in the pre-clinical development with our upcoming radiochemistry facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct in vitro assays (e.g., receptor binding, internalization, viability, serum stability) for radioligands.
- Coordinate in vivo studies with academic collaborators (e.g., tumour models, biodistribution, PET/SPECT imaging, dosimetry, and therapy response).
- Analyze and interpret biological and imaging data; prepare study reports for internal decision‑making and regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to non‑clinical sections of IND and related regulatory documents.
- Work closely with radiochemists and chemists to guide optimization using biological readouts.
- Lead or contribute to manuscript preparation, conference abstracts, and posters in collaboration with internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- PhD or Mphil in Pharmacology, Oncology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Nuclear Medicine, or related discipline.
- Hands‑on experience with tumor models and/or radiotracer or drug efficacy studies (academic or industry).
- Solid understanding of experimental design, statistics, and data interpretation.
- Strong scientific writing skills and an interest in publishing; prior publications are highly desirable.
- Team‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing collaborations with external labs.
