Marvelsoft is headquartered in Hong Kong and we are currently hiring a Sales & Account Manager. This role spans the entire lifecycle of prospecting, new client onboarding and business management of the existing client account; from initial contact, qualification of a prospect's requirements, through creating a technical proposal and finalisation of the sales process to performing post-sale activities, such as handling of any new feature requests raised by the client.
Responsibilities
Supporting the business development throughout the sales cycle
Developing an understanding of the products & related infrastructure needs of a wide range of clients and prospects
Assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities
Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
Developing & maintaining sales documentation and presentations
Internal validation & tracking of projects
Meeting the set sales KPI targets
Continuing to develop current relationships through working with our customer support team and maintaining contact
Continuously growing technical product knowledge and understanding of global financial markets while developing sales skills
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience/certification, ideally in finance or computer science
Excellent spoken & written English (knowledge of Mandarin is a great plus)
Passion for technology and finance
Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
Organised with good time management
Responsive with good communication skills working in a multicultural environment
Resourceful and self-reliant with good critical thinking and problem solving
