Role Description
One of our clients is a dynamic brand at the intersection of Lifestyle and Music, seeking a self-driven and digitally-native Social Media Manager to lead our integrated social strategy and campaigns remotely. You will be the mastermind behind our brand voice across Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), crafting content that resonates with global culture enthusiasts. You will own the full campaign lifecycle—from concept to analytics—while thriving in a distributed, asynchronous work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integrated Campaign Strategy & Leadership:
o Remotely lead the strategy, planning, and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns (e.g., digital product launches, virtual artist collaborations, online festival activations) across all platforms.
o Develop compelling campaign narratives and translate them into platform-specific execution plans, ensuring cohesion and impact.
o Autonomously manage campaign timelines, budgets, and KPIs; deliver clear performance reports to stakeholders via digital channels.
2. Cross-Platform Content & Channel Management:
o Instagram/Facebook: Concept, produce (or oversee remote production of), and schedule high-impact visual and audio content. Manage community interactions and paid promotions independently.
o Xiaohongshu: Develop and execute the \"grass-planting\" strategy. Create authentic, search-optimized lifestyle and music content. Remotely identify, negotiate with, and manage partnerships with KOLs/KOCs and agencies.
o Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and brand voice across all platforms, optimizing post times within the core working hours framework.
3. Remote Collaboration & Communication:
o Serve as the primary remote point of contact for social media, collaborating effectively with distributed teams in Marketing, Artist Relations, and Design using digital tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Zoom, Figma). Availability during core hours for real-time meetings and coordination is essential.
o Clearly brief and provide feedback to freelance creatives, videographers, and designers remotely to ensure asset quality and alignment.
4. Community Cultivation & Engagement:
o Build and nurture a global online community. Monitor and engage with followers across different time zones to foster loyalty and conversation, with a focus on coverage during and around core business hours.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Autonomous Optimization:
o Leverage analytics tools to monitor performance, derive insights, and autonomously optimize campaigns and content strategy in real-time.
o Prepare and present detailed performance analyses and strategic recommendations in virtual meetings and written reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven social media management experience, with at least 2 years in a role leading integrated campaigns and working effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
• A demonstrable passion for contemporary lifestyle and music culture.
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing successful, self-directed campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu.
• Expert-level proficiency in digital collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Trello, Notion) and social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and clarity in a fully remote environment.
• High degree of self-motivation, time-management, and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential for content creation and partner management.
