Expert Machine Learning Engineer
, you'll join a collaborative team focused on building machine learning models that bring production-ready solutions to life.

Your passion for data and its potential will allow you to develop, deploy, and optimize advanced machine learning models. You'll experiment with the latest approaches to ensure that every client receives best-in-class solutions. Working closely with our Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Data Strategists, you'll help execute projects across diverse industries with a comprehensive, quality-driven, end-to-end approach.

As a senior team member, you'll mentor your peers, share your expertise, and keep up with the latest advancements in the field, ensuring continuous growth for yourself and the team.

What we're looking for

You bring the following qualities & experiences to the role:

• Master's or Doctorate in a quantitative field, with mastery in Machine Learning.
• 4+ years of industry experience
  in machine learning and big data.
• In-depth understanding of
  software design principles
  .
• Strong theoretical grounding and practical expertise in general machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong skills in
  Python & SQL
  . Knowledge of an additional programming language is an advantage.
• Proven track record in deploying ML models and deep expertise in MLOps.
• Experience with
  containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  and orchestration tools like
  Airflow, Prefect or Dagster
  .
• Solid grasp of
  cloud- & data engineering
  . Proven experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• GenAI familiarity
  is a big advantage.
• Excited to work with large datasets and be able to tackle problems pragmatically.
• Excellent
  communication skills
  to translate complex solutions into clear client deliverables.
• Fluency in English. Speaking
  Dutch/French fluently
  is a very big advantage.
• Consulting experience
  is a big plus.

Where you'll work

Our main offices are in
Leuven
and
Ghent
, with co-working spaces in
Charleroi
and
Antwerp
. These spaces are perfect for both focusing and unwinding with colleagues, as well as brainstorming sessions and team events. While much of your work can be performed remotely, you will also work on-site with clients.
