Operations Manager, Canton Road


Are you a good match?
You possess solid experience in luxury retail, and gemology knowledge would be an advantage. You demonstrate proven expertise in monitoring sales team performance and retail KPIs, as well as the ability to define and implement individual development plans. You are adept at working effectively in complex and multicultural environments.
You have a results-driven and customer service-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to adapt your behavior to various scenarios, and exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Furthermore, you excel in communication and interpersonal skills, mastering English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
What are we expecting from you?
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Boutique Director of Canton Road, you are responsible for daily boutique operational work. To optimize the operational efficiency and ensure the proper implementation of Maison's retail guideline and procedures, in order to maximize the business and team potential. To that extent you will:
Operations & Compliance: Oversee all back-office activities, including stock management, cash procedures, and document handling. Act as a key user for SAP and digital tools, ensure adherence to retail procedures, manage boutique expenses, and provide essential reporting.
Customer Service Excellence: Drive and ensure high standards of customer service, acting as a referent for all CS activities, resolving client issues, and performing direct customer service as needed.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage back-office staff, contribute to recruitment and integration of new team members, and actively animate the team through effective communication and information sharing.
Brand & Product Expertise: Support event organization and maintain comprehensive knowledge of High Jewelry, Jewelry, Watchmaking, and Stones.
Seamless Client Journey: Coordinate omnichannel activities to ensure a smooth and integrated client experience from orders to appointments and shipping.
Performance & Client Management: Monitor performance and KPIs, and effectively handle and resolve client-related issues.
