This role is strictly for senior profiles with proven professional experience in mobile robot industrialization.
At Botronics, we are redefining the game of golf with robotics. Our flagship product, iXi, is the world's first autonomous golf trolley, designed to offer golfers an effortless, hands-free experience on the course. We are a dynamic startup passionate about blending autonomy, smart design, and user experience to create innovative solutions in sports robotics.
We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of golf.
We are specifically looking for an experienced engineer, someone who has learned from real projects, mistakes, and iterations, not just theoretical knowledge. This role requires a high level of technical autonomy and engineering judgment.
What we are looking for:
Experience in industrialization including cost management, DFM and RFQ
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design
Proven ability to resolve mechanical issues through thoughtful design solutions
Experience aligned with manufacturing processes, such as: aluminum, metal fabrication, die casting and extrusion
Background working in small to medium-sized companies is essential
Hands-on experience with hinges and mechanical/electromechanical assemblies
Industry experience in at least one of the following areas is a plus: home appliances, automotive/motorbikes or bicycles
We are primarily focusing our efforts on our product(s). Therefore, our environment does not yet allow us to work remotely on a regular basis. We are, of course, flexible, and remote work is permitted when the tasks allow for it.
