HSE Manager

For our Benelux-France activities, we are looking for our new (and first) HSE Manager.
Goals & Responsabilities
The HSE Manager, reporting to the General Manager Operations (BE) and working closely with the General Managers (Sales, Project Management, Sites), implement and develop the policies and procedures defined at Group level in terms of Health, Safety and Environment on the basis of the Welfare legislation in force in the Belgian, Dutch and French entities, in order to guarantee the safety of employees, the protection of the environment and the compliance with regulations.
His/her missions include risk assessment, staff awareness and training, accident/incident management, audits, development of improvement programs, as well as jobsite preparation and coordination at customer facilities in the geographic area.
Here you'll find a non-exhaustive list of the main tasks :
HSE management and strategy
Ensure the implementation of the Group's health, safety and environmental policy on the installation sites under the responsibility of Gantrex Nivelles, Gantrex Lille and Gantrex Rotterdam.
Creation of the safety documentary database for the installation sites of the 3 entities.
As an active member of the SIPP for the Nivelles production site, collaborate with the Prevention Advisor in the implementation of this Group policy and the promotion of a dynamic culture of prevention, in order to integrate safety at all levels of processes
Implement the new ISO 45001 certification for Gantrex Nivelles, Gantrex Lille and Gantrex Rotterdam
Risk assessment and prevention
Identify and assess the risks related to the seven areas of Well-Being, as well as set up a Prevention Dashboard, in collaboration with the Prevention Advisor for the Nivelles site, and with the local managers for the Lille and Rotterdam sites
Address accidents/incident & run proper investigation to give guidance & propose solutions to avoid more issues
Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives
Training and awareness
Within the three legal entities, organize and facilitate training programs on security, equipment use and emergency management.
Conduct awareness campaigns to promote safety culture and well-being at work
Monitoring and compliance
Within the three legal entities, monitor and analyse data related to occupational accidents, incidents and non-conformities
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations in all three countries
Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with standards and procedures
Manage and compile the certifications of our workers on construction sites (certification, working at height, etc.)
Monitor the verification and annual maintenance of our tools/equipment (platform) used on installation sites.
Respond to requests from regulatory authorities (: issuance of technical documents, submission of mandatory administrative files)
Write the health and safety plans for Gantrex sites for the three entities
Implement dashboards and performance indicators, monitor and analyse them in order to disseminate regular reporting to the hierarchy
You are our new colleague if...
You have at least 5 years' proven experience in an HSE role in an industrial/construction environment.
You are certified as a Level 1 Prevention Advisor.
You have technical training as an industrial or civil engineer.
You are familiar with ISO45001 and 14001 standards and their implementation.
You enjoy and have a good understanding of project management, working independently.
You are an ambassador for safety culture.
You are meticulous, precise, and rigorous.
You are good at managing your time and priorities.
You speak and write fluent English, French, and Dutch.
You are willing to travel 25-30% of the time (mainly within the Benelux-France geographical area).
