CSR Europe is looking for a motivated and proactive intern to support the preparation and delivery of our events, particularly the European Sustainability Industry Summit 2026, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, civil society and experts to shape the future of sustainable industry in Europe. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of EU affairs, corporate sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to a flagship European event with real policy and business impact.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement
- Support stakeholder mapping & outreach, including EU institutions, companies, national partner organisations, NGOs, and experts.
- Support speakers' coordination, follow-ups and briefings preparation.
- Liaise with sponsors and partners Event Organisation & Logistics
Event Organisation & Logistics
- Assist with logistics, including agenda planning, sessions formats and on-site coordination.
- Contribute to shaping the event agenda through research, analysis, and monitoring of relevant EU policies.
- Manage registrations, participant tracking databases, and liaise with external suppliers.
- Contribute to the preparation of event materials (e.g., programs, flyers, brochures etc.) Participant Experience & Engagement
Participant Experience & Engagement
- Support the design of engaging session formats to maximise participant value and exchange.
- Help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for speakers and attendees before, during and after the event.
- Support follow-up activities, including feedback collection and post-event reporting. Communication & Team Support
Communication & Team Support
- Contribute to event-related communications, including invitations, website updates and internal coordination.
- Support the Events and Communications teams with additional activities related to CSR Europe's broader event portfolio.
- Attend internal and external meetings related to event preparation and sustainability discussions.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Commitment to advancing the sustainability conversation within the business community.
- Good understanding of Corporate Sustainability & EU policy.
- Familiarity with the business environmen
- Experience an/or interest in event management
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong \"go-getter\" attitude.
SKILLS
- Good language skills: Fluency in English is essential (other languages desirable).
- Good multi-tasking skills: Capacity to rapidly respond to a variety of diverse tasks.
- Good research skills: ability to find relevant information and summarise the essence.
- Good analytical skills: ability to work with data on benchmarks and company assessments.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written): ability to provide both information in a timely, clear and concise manner; and to express ideas effectively, adjusting style, tools and mode to the needs of others.
- Good IT skills: Demonstrable experience with MS Office suit and Canva. strong skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Good presentation skills: Ability to speak and present concepts publicly.
BACKGROUND
- The applicant must be either a recent postgraduate or a student who is required to complete an internship to finish their postgraduate studies.
- The applicant should have an academic background in a relevant field (e.g. business, sustainability studies, legal, management, communications, journalism, marketing, digital media, and others). You may explain the link of your studies to sustainability in your cover letter.
- The candidate must be available to work for a period of 6 months.
