Director, Biostatistics Global Biopharmaceutical Company — Hybrid in Brussels area Shape the future of global drug development with a company transforming science into life‑changing therapies. Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical organization, is seeking an accomplished Director of Biostatistics to provide strategic, scientific, and operational leadership across clinical development programs. This is a fully remote role based in Switzerland, offering the opportunity to influence global programs while enjoying the flexibility of a modern, distributed environment. As Director of Biostatistics, you will serve as a key scientific partner across clinical development, regulatory strategy, and cross‑functional program leadership. You will guide statistical strategy from early development through registration and lifecycle management, ensuring robust, compliant, and innovative approaches to data generation and evidence delivery. This role is ideal for a senior biostatistician who thrives in a matrixed, fast‑moving environment and enjoys shaping strategy as much as driving operational excellence. Serve as statistical expert on global project teams, partnering closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Data Management, and Medical Writing. Oversee design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials (Phase I–IV), including adaptive and innovative designs. Drive continuous improvement in statistical methodologies, data quality, and evidence generation frameworks. Contribute to strategic planning, portfolio decision‑making, and risk–benefit assessments. PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. ~Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and manage CRO partnerships. ~ experience with modern statistical tools and data science approaches is a plus. ~ Based in Switzerland with eligibility to work remotely. Remote‑first flexibility within Switzerland.
