The Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support one of our key pharma partners located in the Brussels area. In this position, you will manage and execute technical projects related to equipment, installations, and facility improvements within a GMP environment. You will contribute to the full project lifecycle — from study and coordination to qualification and implementation.

Your Responsibilities

As the Project Engineer, you will :

• Lead the study, coordination, and follow‑up of technical projects involving equipment, machinery, utilities, or building modifications
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including URS, Change Controls, and technical files
• Participate in qualification and commissioning activities: FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, and support PQ when required
• Collaborate with engineering, validation, maintenance, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Review validation protocols and reports related to equipment or installations
• Supervise project planning, procurement, and execution with internal teams and external suppliers
• Provide technical support and propose continuous improvement initiatives for equipment performance and reliability
• Report project status to the Engineering Manager and ensure compliance with internal procedures and GMP requirements.

Your Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience
• You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
• You have a strong knowledge of EU GMP and 21 CFR regulations
• You are proficient to use MS Office and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
• You are a person organized, rigorous, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under strict timelines
• You speak fluently in English and French.
