The project:

Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced PMO to strengthen their team.

• Consolidate deliverables, updates, insights into reports and dashboards for effective decision-making by IT Management
• Support the IT Strategy Office team in the preparation of various governance bodies (inputs, agendas, invitations, minuting, follow-up of actions)
• Prepare/Develop presentation materials for senior management, including gathering input from stakeholders to finalize content
• Act as a member of the IT Strategy Office, taking the lead on some strategy topics of the backlog
• Track progress across multiple workstreams and initiative to ensure timely completion. This implies coordination and follow-up with tribe architects, lead architects, other members of the IT Strategy Office and any relevant stakeholder.
• Contribute to the review of IT SO deliverables to guarantee quality, structure, consistency, adequate review and publication. Challenge assumptions, storytelling and conclusions to guarantee the highest quality of output
• Preparation of several transversal Initiative Boards
• Analysis of the bank’s budget preparation exercise
• Assist in critical thinking, research, analysis, communication, and change management
• Improve several governance structures as IT Strategy execution, IT Strategy Board, IT SO backlog management and IT4IT project portfolio, to ensure topics are delivered on-time and on-expectations
• Manage the IT SO backlog
• Support the yearly budget cycle
• Support the formalization of the IT Strategy for HQ

Is this you?

• Knowledge of English and active knowledge of at least one of French or Dutch
• 5+ years of either IT project management, working in Consulting firm, PMO supporting program managers or IT strategy formulation teams
• Ability to understand and navigate the decision-making context of the bank (organisation, structure, key roles and processes, main stakeholders, …)
• Ability to work with IT managers and senior IT Architects to collaboratively design the expected deliverables
• Ability to perform retrospectives and lessons-learned analysis to as to improve the impact of the IT Strategy team
